What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. They are widely used to make sites work and to understand how they are used.
What this site uses
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not use any cookie or similar technology that needs your consent. The only things it uses are described below.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits to this website and see which pages are read. Our analytics do not use cookies, do not store anything on your device, and do not track you across other websites. They do not identify you or build a profile of you, and we do not use them for advertising. Because they work this way, we do not show a cookie banner or ask for consent for them.
Contact form protection
The contact page uses a bot-protection check to confirm that a form is sent by a person and not by a bot. It is used only to protect the form, so we treat it as strictly necessary and do not ask for consent.
Signed-in portal
If you have an account and sign in to the Always On Enquiries portal, it sets cookies that this website does not. These are needed for the portal to work, so we do not ask for consent for them:
- Sign-in session: keeps you signed in and keeps your session secure. It is removed when you sign out or your session ends.
- Calendar connection: if you choose to connect a Google Calendar, a security cookie protects that connection while you complete it. It expires after 10 minutes.
The portal does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and the analytics described above apply only to this website.
If we add other tools in future, we will list them here and ask for your consent where the law requires.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This will not stop this website working, but you will not be able to sign in to the portal without them.
